Dying to Meet You by Rich Amooi @RichAmooi @rararesources #BlogTour #Review

Thank you for stopping by! I’m thrilled to be opening the blog tour with my review for Dying to Meet You by Rich Amooi today with Felicia over at Nesie’s Place and the fabulous Zoe over at Zooloo’s Book Diary who first told me that I needed to read Rich Amooi’s books and she was so right! After reading There’s Something About a Cowboy I couldn’t wait to pick up his next book! With thanks to Rachel at Rachel’s Random Resources for the invite to join the tour and to the author for my copy. First things first let’s take a look at the description for the book…

ABOUT THE BOOK

Liz Parker doesn’t like surprises, but winning the lottery isn’t something she would complain about. Before she has time to think about how to spend her new fortune, she’s hit with an even bigger shock than unexpected wealth. She has three months to live unless she finds a one-in-a-million bone marrow donor.

While her medical team scrambles to locate her miracle, Liz throws together a bucket list, charters a private jet, and takes off to see the world. The journey of a lifetime holds even more surprises, including the hunky pilot she’s falling for at the most inconvenient time.

Will Liz die before she can realize her happily-ever-after, or will the universe come through for her one more time? Find out in this humorous tale of true love and adventure!

MY REVIEW

To be honest when I first read the description for this book I wasn’t sure what to expect but after loving There’s Something About a Cowboy earlier this year I was so happy to pick up another of Rich Amooi’s books that I didn’t really have to think twice!

So what did I think of Dying to Meet You… Well with a main character who finds out she has months to live you might think this book would have quite a sad theme running throughout. Instead Rich Amooi turns this on its head and ended up creating a wonderfully upbeat, lively and entertaining story that had me rooting for Liz right from the start. After what you could call coasting along in life Liz gets quite a few shocks all in a very short space of time from the elation of winning the lottery to getting a medical diagnosis that leaves her desperately needing a miracle.

I love books that feature travel as a theme and in Dying To Meet You I was whisked away with Liz, Adam and Orlando as they travelled the world ticking items off Liz’s bucket list. There is friendship, love and adventure within the pages of this book all with a brilliant character in Liz. I especially loved the fact that she was a slightly older heroine then pair her with Adam and well I was just sat there smiling away to myself!

This book easily grabbed hold of me with plenty of fun, giggles and heartwarming moments. It really is another brilliant book by Rich Amooi and I’m so glad that I got the chance to tag along with these characters. I enjoyed every single moment!
