The Mysterious Miss Fairchild by Sarah Mallory @SarahMRomance @MillsandBoon #Review

Thanks for stopping by! I’m delighted to be sharing my review for The Mysterious Miss Fairchild by Sarah Mallory. A big thank you to the author for my copy! Right, let’s take a look at the description for the book…

An accomplished beauty…

But a most unsuitable match!

Natalya Fairchild can’t help but be drawn to Tristan Quintrell, Lord Dalmorren, with his effortless charisma, even if he’s not her intended bridegroom. Tristan is an eligible society catch…whereas Natalya’s unknown heritage could label her ruined! As he helps Natalya investigate her mysterious past, she starts to hope the truth of her conception won’t destroy her prospects…of a life with Tristan!

The Mysterious Miss Fairchild is a story that has mystery and romance wrapped up in its pages. What can I say – I loved it!

In this book we meet Natalya Fairchild who let’s just say has quite a mysterious past. Her parents are unknown along with her heritage. Well, I do love a mystery and this really drew me in. Natalya really struggles with not knowing anything about her past making her both curious and determined to know more. Then add Tristan Quintrell to the mix and sparks begin to fly which made me love this book even more! I think I probably fell for Tristan myself especially as he appears a little brooding at first, sigh 😉 However there is also a fun side that slowly begins to appear as the book progressed. As Natalya’s guardians keep a close eye on her she longs for freedom which will be coming up shortly as she nears her 21st birthday. Natalya is excited that she might finally gain some answers regarding her past. However worries surface as she begins to fall for Tristan. Can they be together?

The Mysterious Miss Fairchild moves at a lovely pace and kept my attention throughout. I loved Tristan and Natalya’s connection. Especially as their interactions became more friendly eventually turning flirtatious. There is a wonderful battle of wills as Natalya stands her ground with Tristan. I couldn’t wait to see how this connection would play out along with discovering the mystery of Natalya’s past. This story has the perfect amount of romance, mystery and characters who will make you smile. The Mysterious Miss Fairchild is a wonderfully charming story that I flew through and enjoyed every single page!
