Captured by Her Enemy Knight by Nicole Locke @NicoleLockeNews @rararesources #BlogTour #Giveaway #Review

Thanks for stopping by! I’m thrilled to be sharing my review as part of the blog blitz for Captured by Her Enemy Knight by Nicole Locke. With thanks to Rachel at Rachel’s Random Resources for the invite to join the tour and to the author for my lovely review copy. First things first let’s take a look at the description for the book…

Captured by her enemy…

Falling for the man

Cressida Howe, The Archer, is a well-tuned weapon. But she’s also a woman captivated by a man―Eldric of Hawskmoor, the warrior knight her father has ordered her to kill. Instead, for years, Cressida has simply watched him… Now she’s been captured by the formidable enemy, and her well-ordered world comes crashing down―for Eldric is even more compelling up close. Cressida curses her traitorous heart: this assassin has fallen for her target!

This book has it all! Not only does it have a wonderful story full of intrigue and danger. It also has two characters whose chemistry has both a sweet and sizzling side that works so brilliantly. In Captured by Her Enemy Knight we meet Cressida and Eldric who have quite the dramatic first meeting. There’s the not so small detail that Cressida is an assassin and deadly enemy to Eldric! They start as enemies but let’s just say that Eldric’s plans begin to change now that he has caught her.

The story moves at a lovely pace showing how both the characters change as they get to know each other. Building on a chemistry that is apparent from almost the very beginning. I loved learning their back stories especially Cressida as we find out about the only life she has ever known. Along with seeing the emotional damage that has been done. However through all of this you can see Cressida’s strength and determination which made me continually root for her. Eldric, what can I say about him?! 🥰 Well, he also has a strength of character that shines through and in his own way also has that vulnerability to his personality that fits so well with Cressida.

Nicole Locke always creates stunning and descriptive stories that carry me away to the past. Fully experiencing the adventure and romance of it all as the characters strive to achieve a happy ever after. In Captured by Her Enemy Knight there is drama, danger and of course romance. It all combined to create a story that kept me entertained until the very last page!

Nicolefirst discovered romance novels hidden in her grandmother’s closet. Convinced hidden books must be better, Nicole greedily readthem. It was only natural she should start writing them (but now not so secretly). If she isn’t working on the next book in her historical series, she can be reached at
