Rae Recaps… April 2021

Thanks for stopping by!

I think I say this every time but April was another month that just flew by. As a family we’ve been busy taking part in a challenge called Beat the Street where you walk, scoot or bike around our local area. You scan a fob/card and collect points. Which helps your chosen school/charity to get a place on the leaderboard to win prizes. We walk to school every day anyway but we have also been busy getting out and about at the weekends too! One weekend we visited Boston Castle and the woods nearby.

I think this is still a favourite part of my post so it’s time for Callie photos! 🥰❤️🥰

Guarding Dexter’s hot wheels 😂

Now onto…

Here’s what I bought in April…

It was lovely to have a wander around a charity shop and I picked up these four books.

I also found a kindle bargain.

After finishing A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder I had to buy the second in the series.

Oh and Tall Bones and Last Night accidentally fell in my trolley 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Finally from Audible I used a credit to buy the third book in the Stalking Jack the Ripper series. I’m part way through listening to book two and I’m really enjoying this series!

This month I managed to read 14 books…

I also listened to three audiobooks and all of them were brilliant!

On the Road to Love by Melissa Baldwin – Q&A

Duchess If You Dare by Anabelle Bryant – Review

Amalie by E. j. Wood – Extract

Summer Kisses at Mermaids Point by Sarah Bennett – Review

The Deception of Harriet Fleet by Helen Scarlett – Review

Janey Trelawney’s Year of Surprising Triumphs by Georgia Hill – Review

I also posted the following reviews…

Life’s Too Short by Abby Jimenez

Rescued by Her Highland Soldier by Sarah Mallory

Call Me Mummy by Tina Baker

Well, I guess that’s it for today and for April. Take care and very best wishes.

Rae xx

  1. Callie has grown since last month! Still cute though 😻 I’ve been meaning to start the Stalking Jack the Ripper series, I’ll need to bump it up the wishlist 😊
