Elle’s A to Z of Love by Claire Huston @ClaraVal @rararesources #BlogTour #Review

Thanks for stopping by! I’m thrilled to be one of the stops on the blog tour for Elle’s A to Z of Love by Claire Huston and sharing my review today. With thanks to Rachel at Rachel’s Random Resources for the invite to join the tour and to the author for my copy. First things first let’s take a look at the description for the book…

Haileybrook, a beautiful village in the peaceful Cotswolds countryside, is most people’s idea of heaven on earth.

Born and raised in this small slice of paradise, Elle Bea can’twait to leave.

It should be easy, but every time she packs her bags for exotic adventures, old loves and loyalties pull her back.

Will Elle be forced to forget her dreams of far-flung places and epic romance, or can she grab one last chance to have it all?

An uplifting, romantic story about friends, family and the relationships that make a place a home.

MY REVIEW

Elle certainly goes on a journey throughout this book. Just not necessarily the one filled with travel like she has always wanted. Her character growth is portrayed very well. Although there were times when I would have liked her to stand up for herself more. However I thought that Elle had such a sweet and caring nature that I think she just wanted to see the good in people. As the saying goes “love is blind” which definitely applies in her situation. However I was willing Elle on every step of the way hoping for the very best for her. It really was such a joy to get to know both Elle and her friends!

There was a little bit of everything to keep me entertained from wonderful characters, drama, friendships and of course romance. I have to mention that the romance aspect to the story was a pleasant surprise for me. I had my suspicions but I wasn’t quite 100% sure who Elle would find happiness with. I thought Claire Huston did a great job of keeping me on my toes!

Elle’s A to Z of Love wrapped me up in a warm and comforting bubble. I loved the descriptive and rich writing that helped to completely immerse me in both the story and the characters lives. From the very beginning this book projected a light and happy feeling that just increased throughout and continued well after I turned the last page. Elle’s A to Z of Love is a gorgeous story and the perfect escape, I loved it!
