MY REVIEW

A Nun for the Viking Warrior was a delight to read! It’s safe to say that the opening to this story made me pay attention. As Amée’s life changes unexpectedly when she finds herself wed to Norseman, Jorund!

I have to say that the characters had a wonderful depth. This made it even more enjoyable getting to know them. As I not only saw the story unfold but also Amée and Jorund’s personalities revealed, bit by bit. Then of course there’s the initial slow burn that turned to a sizzling chemistry. This all played out between the pair in a brilliant combination of sweet and steamy. Amée and Jorund have not had easy lives. Their family situations were not perfect at all. However because of this the characters were strong willed, resilient and caring. Which made it very easy to root for them both. However trust was a big problem for this pair but I was right there willing them to take a risk. Hoping for that happy ever after!

The pacing is pretty good throughout the story and it didn’t take me long to read. In fact I ended up racing through it. There was a little bit of everything to entertain especially a touch of drama to provide that hint of tension. Although it’s safe to say that romance was at its heart. A Nun for the Viking Warrior was rich in detail and a truly gorgeous historical romance!
