MY REVIEW

This is the first book by Rich Amooi that I have read and let’s just say I have been missing out! I’ve already bought a copy of Five Minutes Late that Zoe over at Zooloo’s Book Diary recommended to me. I just need to find the time to read it!

There’s Something About a Cowboy instantly pulled me in with witty writing that had me smiling throughout. It really is a brilliant feel good story and I loved every moment! In this book we follow Amy as she gets caught up in a situation where she has need of a fake fiance, in steps Luke who fits the bill perfectly. Let’s just say that’s when things get interesting. As the chemistry between the pair builds, where will it all end?

The fake boyfriend/fiance has been done before but Rich Amooi easily manages to put a fresh spin on this story and in turn makes it such a fun book to read. The characters easily made this book with lots of humorous situations that add an extra special sparkle. I loved Amy’s family how warm they were and especially all the food that was described. I constantly wanted pie while reading this book! Then add in Amy’s meddling dad and you get such an entertaining story! It really is the perfect book to spend time with and if you want an escape from daily life then look no further!

There’s Something About a Cowboy is an uplifting, engaging and fun story!
